Bonded Pros Dispute Resolution Process
1. Informal Communication:
- Step 1: We encourage the involved parties to communicate directly and attempt to resolve the issue informally. Clear communication can often lead to a quick and amicable resolution.
2. Escalation to Platform Mediation:
- Step 2: If an informal resolution is not possible, either the client or freelancer may initiate a formal dispute by contacting the platform. This initiates the mediation process.
- Step 3: Platform administrators or designated mediators will review the details provided by both parties.
- Step 4: Mediators will facilitate communication between the client and freelancer to understand the concerns and gather additional information.
3. Investigation:
- Step 5: The platform may conduct a thorough investigation into the dispute, considering relevant documentation, communication records, and any other evidence provided by both parties.
- Step 6: During the investigation, freelancers and clients are expected to provide truthful and accurate information to support their positions.
4. Mediation and Resolution:
- Step 7: The mediator will work with both parties to explore potential resolutions. This may involve negotiating a compromise or finding a mutually agreeable solution.
- Step 8: If an agreement is reached, the terms will be documented, and both parties will be required to adhere to the resolution.
5. Arbitration (Optional):
- Step 9: If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute may proceed to arbitration, where an impartial third party will make a binding decision based on the evidence presented.
- Step 10: The decision of the arbitrator is final and binding, and both parties agree to abide by the resolution.
6. Enforcement:
- Step 11: If an agreement or arbitration decision is not followed, the platform may take appropriate actions, including suspension or termination of the violating party’s account.
7. Continuous Improvement:
- Bonded Pros will regularly review and refine the dispute resolution process based on user feedback and evolving needs. We aim to enhance the efficiency and fairness of the process continually.
By using the platform, both freelancers and clients agree to participate in good faith in the dispute resolution process outlined above.
